Popular faces of TV screen Tahsan and Shokh are all set to pair up for a small screen venture.
The duo is going to feature in a drama titled ‘Tomay Bhalobeshe’ which is scheduled to go on floor from today. Directed by Tanin Rahman, the drama will be produced by Morshed Rakin.
When questioned about how she feels about Tahsan, who is considered a Bangladeshi ‘heart-throb’, Shokh said, “Tahsan bhai is someone I look up to in this industry, I like him an awful lot. Just like any other normal Bangladeshi people, I am in awe of his music besides admiring his acting skills.”
Shokh also talked about the story-line of this upcoming drama. “It is a love-story which revolves around two people falling in love with each other as they chat on Facebook and how their romance turns out.”
Shokh hopes their experience of working together will be great.
Coming to Tahsan, the vastly popular artist is often cited as a ‘romantic’ actor because of the types of work that he does.
Will Tahsan ever come out of his current comfort zone and appear before the audience in a different character? “Well, the thing is that I work keeping people’s demand in mind. I have said this earlier- I act just out of passion. And this is the reason I work in a limited number of dramas, only in the ones where audience will receive me well.”
Tahsan further contradicts the sterotype imposed on him. “I’ve acted in diverse roles a number of times. However, people do not seem to remember them and I think they choose not to as they like me as a ‘hopeless romantic’.”
Tahsan signed off saying he likes being offered different kind of roles.
Although his first identity is that of a musician and singer, he has also successfully ventured into the world of acting. Besides these, he is also a Senior Lecturer at BRAC University.
On the other hand, Shokh is a small screen diva who has become a regular and popular face over the times. The recently married actress has gained a dedicated fan base and has proven her talents in the eyes of thousands in the last decade.
