Soumya Sarkar is the most popular Bangladeshi cricketer now in social media but this popularity hurts him.
His recent performance has not been so impressive and thus people all over Bangladesh are busy in bashing him on the social media.
But Soumya is a born fighter and he knows the way of giving perfect answer to these criticisms. Recently, Soumya revealed the way to the media in Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.
The left-handed opening batsman said, “I always try to pass less time on social media during my bad patch. People here love to talk and it is normal. I always try to remain positive. Only way to stop them is scoring runs consecutively.”
Soumya added, “I was successful in Sri Lanka and tried to repeat that in this recently concluded series against Australia. The wickets there are similar to Bangladesh but I failed with the same approach. I am working hard on my problems and hopefully I’ll overcome those successfully.”
However, Bangladesh have a tough task ahead of them as they will play play a two-test series in South Africa which will be started from 28th September. It will be a huge series for Soumya and he wants to do something exceptional in that.
He said at the end, “South Africa tour will be tough for us and doing well in difficult situations give you more happiness. I’ll try hard to do that.”
