Doctors attending to ailing Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore have stated that the AL leader recovering quickly and his condition is much better now.
Abu Nasar Rizvi, a professor at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University currently accompanying Quader in Singapore, said, “His kidneys are stable and blood pressure normal.”
Quoting doctors at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Abu Nasar Rizvi also said that the infection has also come under control and Quader’s condition is much better now.
69-years-old Quader was flown to Singapore on Monday for better treatment as per advice of renowned Indian cardiologist Dr Devi Shetty.
Earlier on Sunday morning, he was admitted to the BSMMU following breathing complications.
Doctors at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital are said to be considering a bypass surgery.
