Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has strongly condemned the horrifying terrorist attack at two mosques in New Zealand which left at least 49 people dead.
The Premier sent a condolence message to her New Zealand counterpart Jacinda Ardern and offered deep condolences.
Armed gunmen swooped on defenceless praying Muslims during Friday prayers at two mosques in Christchurch and opened fire on them killing nearly half a century of innocent people.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has described the attack as “one of New Zealand’s darkest days”.
The Masjid al Noor in central Christchurch was filled with worshippers when the attack happened, as was the second mosque in suburban Linwood.
Local media reported the South Island city was placed under lockdown after the attack.
