A US-Bangla flight left Dhaka for Nepal with 46 relatives of the victims who died and injured in Monday’s deadly plane crash at Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal on board on Tuesday morning.
A special flight of US-Bangla airlines carrying the victims’ relatives has flown to Kathmandu around 9:02am, said Md Kamrul Islam, general manager, Marketing Support and PR of US-Bangla Airlines.
The flight, carrying 46 relatives and seven crew members, will reach Kathmandu around 10:30am, he said.
At least 49 people died as the aircraft, which was carrying 67 passengers – 32 from Bangladesh, 33 from Nepal and one each from China and the Maldives – crashed in Nepal.
There were also four Bangladeshi crew members on board.
