Bangladesh National Football has lost 2 – 1 to Singapore National Football team in a FIFA International Friendly match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
In the day’s match, host Bangladesh went ahead in the 4th minute of the match with a brilliant header by Defender Nasiruddin Chowdhury.
Forward Fazrul Newaz Hameed leveled the margin for Singapore in the 31st minute (1-1).
Forward Mohammad Khairul Amri Bin Mohammad Kamal scored the match-winning goal for visiting Singapore in the 73rd minute and seal the match.
Bangladesh later tried to level the score but Singapore defense restrict them from scoring.
Both the sides played this FIFA international friendly as part of their preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2018 Qualifiers as well as for the AFC Asia Cup 2019 Qualifiers.
Bangladesh will play another FIFA friendly against Afghanistan on June 2 at the same venue.
