A mild earthquake has jolted Dhaka and other parts of the country on Wednesday morning.
The tremor was felt around 10:52am and lasted for about 30 seconds.
US Geological Survey measured the earthquake at 5.6 magnitude.
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the epicentre was located in Assam, 293km northeast of Dhaka.
There were no immediate reports of any damage.
