Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Monday rescued 22 Rohingyas in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar when they were waiting for a trawler to go to Malaysia.
The rescued Rohingyas included 10 women, 11 children and one man who took shelter to the refugee camps in Kutupalong and Balukhali.
They were rescued from Khurermukh of Shah Porir Dwip around 3:00pm.
On information, the BGB team rushed to the spot and rescued the Rohingyas.
However, none of the traffickers were arrested during the drive.
