Abid Sultan, the pilot of the crashed US-Bangla Airlines flight who sustained injuries in the plane crash, died at Norvic Hospital in Kathmundu on Tuesday.
Md Kamrul Islam, General Manager (GM), Marketing Support and PR of US-Bangla Airlines, confirmed the death of Abid.
All four cabin crew members including pilot Abid Sultan of US-Bangla flight that crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport airport have died.
General manager of Tribhuvan International Airport Rajkumer Chhetri, confirmed the matter.
The three other cabin crew members are co-pilot Prithula Rashid, Khwaza Hossain Mohammad Shafi and Shamim Akter.
All the crew members died on Monday soon after the plane crash.
Among the Bangladeshi survivors, the condition of at least three to four is stated to be critical.
At least 49 people, including 26 Bangladeshis, were killed when the flight BS211, a 76-seater Bombardier Dash 8 Q-400, crashed on an empty field.
The US-Bangla flight took off from Dhaka around 12:51pm with 32 Bangladeshis, 33 Nepalese, and one each from the Maldives and China.
