Ferdousi Priyabhashini’s condition has not improved and doctors say her condition needs to be observed for at least 12 hours in order to understand her condition.
The 70-year-old freedom fighter and sculptor has not gained consciousness and is under treatment at coronary care unit (CCU) of Labaid Hospital in Dhaka.
Saiful Islam Lelnin, assistant general manager of the hospital, told reporters that her condition has not improved and neither has it deteriorated.
A 10-member board that is overseeing her treatments and said nothing can be ascertained before 12 hours.
Doctors however, said she is suffering from multiple complications including diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.
Priyabhashini fell over in her Gulshan residence and went into a shock on Wednesday afternoon.
She was rushed to Labaid Hospital immediately and has been there since.
Ferdousi Priyabhashini was the first one to publicly announce herself as Birangona, a term coined by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for the rape victims of the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971.
Bangladesh government awarded her Independence Day Award in 2010.
