Dhaka University’s Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) Department is planwill form a human chain on the campus on Sunday morning seeking steps to trace Dr Mubashar Hasan, a missing teacher of North South University (NSU).
The human chain will be formed at the foot of Oporajeyo Bangla in front of the Arts Faculty of the university around 10 am, said a press release signed by Prof Geeti Ara Nasreen of the MCJ department.
Dr Mubashar Hasan, an assistant professor of School of Humanities and Social Sciences of privately-run North South University and a former student of the DU’s MCJ department, went missing on Tuesday night.
A general diary was filed with Khilgaon Police Station in this regard. Mubashar’s father Motahar Hossain, who is a retired government personnel, filed the GD on Tuesday night.
Khilgaon Police Staion confirmed the matter, GD number is 404.
Family sources said, he was “fearing for his life” after a person, identifying himself as a student, went to his home and looked for him on October 25.
Police said, Mubashar left home on Tuesday afternoon. Later, his phone was found switched off.
