The USA ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W Mozena said violence cannot be the the way of reaching any solution. He conveyed the worries of the USA government concerning the recent violence in Bangladeh. Mojena told this in a press conference at the American sector center on Monday.
The Ambassador said the people of the country want peace. I hope the situation will change and solution will come out. He also expressed concern about attacks on Hindu community.
Concerning upcoming election Mozena said all parties should sit together to find a way how an acceptable election can be done. The USA is ready to help in the election process. Answering to a question regarding Jamaat he said, the party is an educated political party. And they have representation in the parliament. On Shahbag movement the ambassador said it’s an enthusiastic and peaceful movement by the people of the country.
He said that he is working towards strengthening Dhaka Washington relationship.
