Fisheries and Livestock Minister Muhammed Sayedul Hoque has passed away in a Dhaka hospital on Sunday morning.
He was 75 at the time of his demise.
The ruing party leader breathed his last at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) around 8:30am.
The minister had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for old-age complications.
President Md Abdul Hamid had visited ailing minister at the hospital on Friday night.
Abdul Hamid had passed some time beside the Minister, said Md Joynal Abedin, Press Secretary to the President.
