Ace all-rounder of Bangladesh cricket team Shakib Al Hasan has been suffering an ankle injury which sidelined him for a week from the ongoing fitness camp ahead of Australia series.
However, BCB physio Mario Villavarayan has informed to the media that Shakib’s injury is not too serious and he will rejoin the conditioning camp on July 22.
To make himself fit Shakib will also start cycling from Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha will return on July 28 and then the batting and bowling practice sessions will start at a full pace.
It should be noted that ahead of Australia series, the Tigers will play three two day intra-squad practice matches where Shakib is expected to play.
