A mild earthquake jolted different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
According to the Dhaka Met Office, the earthquake scaled 4.7 magnitude and was felt around 10:50 am in the country.
The epicenter of the 49-second long earthquake was in Tripura, India, some 75 kilometers east from the capital Dhaka.
However, there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property.
