A Dhaka court has placed four alleged operatives of outlawed Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), who surrendered to Rab in Ashulia on Sunday, on four-day remand each.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Fairuz Tasnim passed the order after police produced them before the court with 10-day remand prayer for each of them.
They were shown arrested in a case filed under Anti-Terrorism Act on April 27, RAB sources said.
The four JMB operatives — Mozammel Huq, Rashedul Nabi, Ifranul Islam and Alamgir Hossain — surrendered on Sunday around 12 hours after Rab personnel cordoned off a house in Ashulia.
According to Rab, the four militants are members of Sarwar-Tamim group of JMB.
